The invention relates to the technical field of pavement materials, and particularly discloses an anti-skid thin-layer pavement asphalt mixture and a preparation method thereof. The antiskid thin-layer paving asphalt mixture is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 5 to 15 parts of styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer modified asphalt, 2 to 3 parts of rubber powder, 40 to 50 parts of aggregate, 0.1 to 0.3 part of fiber stabilizer and 1 to 3 parts of water. According to the anti-skid thin-layer paving asphalt mixture, the styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer modified asphalt and the rubber powder are combined, so that the anti-skid performance of the asphalt mixture is improved, and the fiber stabilizer is used for improving the bonding force of all components in an asphalt mixture system; therefore, the wear resistance and the skid resistance of the asphalt mixture are improved.
