The invention relates to the technical field of road engineering, in particular to a permafrost region roadbed structure and a construction method.The permafrost region roadbed structure comprises a lower roadbed, a first heat insulation layer and an upper roadbed which are sequentially arranged from bottom to top, the middle of the first heat insulation layer is low, the two sides of the first heat insulation layer are gradually raised, and a water collecting groove is formed in the upper end of the lower roadbed; an opening of the water collecting tank is vertically opposite to the lowest part of the first heat insulation layer; a drainage pipe for draining water in the water collecting tank is arranged in the lower roadbed; after being condensed at the lower end of the first heat insulation layer, water in the lower roadbed flows from higher positions on the two sides to a lower position in the middle along the lower end of the first heat insulation layer under the action of gravity and adsorption and flows into the water collection tank, and water in the water collection tank is discharged out of the water collection tank through a water drainage pipe; therefore, the permafrost region roadbed structure can discharge the condensed water at the lower end of the first heat insulation layer in time, soil softening of the lower roadbed is avoided, and then the safety of the roadbed is guaranteed.
