A steel plate combined welding type main cable saddle comprises a saddle groove side wall steel plate, a saddle groove inner filling block, a saddle groove bottom plate, two base transverse rib plate sets, longitudinal rib plates and longitudinal reinforcing ribs, and the top of the saddle body bottom plate is connected with the bottoms of the two base transverse rib plate sets. A saddle groove bottom plate is inserted into the top of each base transverse rib plate set, the two ends of the top of each saddle groove bottom plate are connected with the bottoms of the two saddle groove side wall steel plates respectively, the tops of the saddle groove side wall steel plates extend to the positions above the base transverse rib plate sets, and the bottoms of the saddle groove bottom plates are connected with the tops of the longitudinal rib plates. The bottom of the longitudinal rib plate is connected with the top of the saddle body bottom plate. Combined installation is carried out independently, the casting period of castings is omitted, the manufacturing period is shorter, efficiency is higher, cost is lower, the defects of a saddle head or a cable saddle of a casting structure are effectively overcome, and the safety and reliability of the cable saddle structure are improved.
