The invention provides a reciprocating type traction system. The reciprocating type traction system comprises two longitudinal double-line reciprocating type traction systems and a horizontal double-line reciprocating type traction system arranged on an anchorage on one side. The two longitudinal double-line reciprocating type traction systems are arranged on the upstream side and the downstream side respectively, and the horizontal double-line reciprocating type traction system is connected to one ends of the two longitudinal double-line reciprocating type traction systems. The horizontal double-line reciprocating type traction system comprises a first dragging channel, a second dragging channel, a first horizontal traction mechanism, a second horizontal traction mechanism and a horizontal traction machine. The first dragging channel and the second dragging channel are arranged in a staggered mode. Steering of the main cable strand can be achieved without a tower crane, the increased project period and labor cost of the tower crane are reduced, the requirement for the tonnage of a horizontal traction machine for horizontally pulling the main cable strand is low, and the equipment input cost can be reduced; by means of the method, the two main cable strands can be steered and dragged at the same time, and the dragging efficiency is improved.
