The invention discloses a dewatering and drainage construction method for a foundation pit, and relates to the field of building construction technologies, and the dewatering and drainage construction method comprises the following steps that water collecting wells are excavated at all corner parts of the pit bottom of the foundation pit, inner drainage open trenches are excavated along the periphery of the pit bottom of the foundation pit, and the inner drainage open trenches are communicated with all the water collecting wells; a cofferdam is arranged on the building site and surrounds the foundation pit; an outer drainage open trench is arranged on the outer side of the cofferdam; a waterproof film is laid on the ditch wall of the outer drainage open ditch, the length direction of the waterproof film is in the length direction of the drainage open ditch, the two long edge sides of the waterproof film are in lap joint with the outer side of the outer drainage open ditch respectively, and under the condition that the length of the waterproof film is smaller than that of the outer drainage open ditch, the waterproof film covers the outer drainage open ditch. The multiple waterproof films are sequentially spliced and laid in the length direction of the outer drainage open trench; and one or more water collecting wells are provided with a drainage pump for draining water to the outer drainage open trench. When foundation pit dewatering is carried out, water pumped out of the foundation pit can be prevented from seeping back into the foundation pit in a simple mode.
