The invention relates to an automobile door lock catch and an automobile, and the automobile door lock catch comprises a mounting base which is provided with a guide groove extending in the in-out direction of an automobile door opening; the movable lock catch is mounted on the mounting base in a sliding manner through the guide groove; the driving assembly is arranged in the mounting base and fixedly connected with one side of the movable lock catch so as to be used for driving the movable lock catch to move in the guide groove in a reciprocating mode, and when the driving assembly drives the movable lock catch to move, the movable lock catch can be located at at least three different positions. Through the movable lock catch slidably arranged on the mounting base and the driving assembly, the movable lock catch can be subjected to position adjustment and positioning in at least three different positions, so that the movable lock catch still has two position selections which can be matched to perform semi-locking of the vehicle door besides the position which can correspond to the full-locking state of the vehicle door; and therefore, static semi-locking closing forces of different vehicle door systems can be smoothly matched.
