The invention discloses an ardealite-based water permeable brick, which comprises: ardealite aggregate; at least one part of the surface of the ardealite aggregate is coated with the gypsum cementation layer; at least one part of the surface of the gypsum cementation layer is coated by the epoxy resin film layer, and/or at least one part of the gypsum cementation layer is permeated by the epoxy resin film layer; the pores are distributed in the phosphogypsum-based water permeable brick in a disordered manner. The preparation method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing and stirring the ardealite aggregate, the gypsum powder, the water reducing agent, the retarder and water to obtain a mixture, conveying the mixture into a material distribution system for filling, pressurizing and hardening by adopting a hydraulic system to obtain the pre-treated water permeable brick, soaking the pre-treated water permeable brick into epoxy resin, and drying to obtain the ardealite-based water permeable brick. And fishing out and airing to obtain the phosphogypsum-based water permeable brick.
