The invention discloses a cable beam construction method of a ground anchor type space cable suspension bridge, and relates to the technical field of suspension bridge construction, and the cable beam construction method comprises the following steps: S1, constructing an anchorage, a bridge tower and a foundation; s2, catwalk erection, main cable erection, catwalk hanging and cable clamp installation are completed in sequence, and then the top end of a sling is fixed to a cable clamp; s3, two sets of single-cable cable loading cranes are installed, the single-cable cable loading cranes can rotate relative to the main cable in the no-load state or walk in the length direction of the main cable, and the single-cable cable loading cranes can rotate relative to the main cable in the load state but do not slide; s4, the two groups of single-cable loading cranes synchronously and symmetrically lift the two main beam sections; s5, hoisting work of all the main beam sections is completed; and S6, applying a second-phase dead load, and designing the line shapes of the two main cables into a bridge line shape. According to the cable beam construction method, the construction mode of first cable and second beam is adopted, temporary transverse supports between the main cables do not need to be arranged, and the main cables are automatically designed into a bridge line shape along with gradual hoisting of the main beam sections.
