The invention provides an assembly type crown beam which comprises a plurality of component units, each component unit comprises a first main body part, one end of each first main body part is provided with a first protruding part, and the other end of each first main body part is provided with a first groove; a first fixing hole is formed in the first protruding part, and second fixing holes are formed in the two side walls of the first groove; the different component units are fixedly connected through cooperation of the first protruding parts and the first grooves. The invention further provides a construction method of the fabricated crown beam. The assembly type crown beam is provided with the component units, different parts are connected through assembly, all the parts are prefabricated blocks, field installation is facilitated, the field construction efficiency is improved, and the assembly type crown beam can be disassembled and reused after being used.
