The invention discloses a preparation method of a low-permeability rock stratum similar material large-size model test piece, which comprises the following steps: starting an overall control platform, inputting the size and material parameters of a required model test piece, and intelligently calculating a material proportioning scheme required by the model test piece; a dust-free feeding station and a vacuum feeding machine are controlled to feed the materials into a stock bin with an automatic weighing device; the vacuum feeding machine is controlled to put barite powder, quartz sand, talcum powder and a binder into the dry material stirring device for uniform mixing, and the mixture is put into the wet material stirring device; sequentially conveying a conditioning agent and water into a wet material stirring device, and fully stirring; and the mixed material is put into a model frame, and the mixed material is subjected to vibration compaction forming through a vibration compaction device. Intelligent, automatic and integrated manufacturing of the similar material large-size model test piece is achieved, the manufacturing efficiency is improved, the manufacturing time is greatly shortened, and uniform compaction of the large-size model test piece is achieved.
