The invention discloses a piezoelectric ceramic material with a high piezoelectric coefficient and a preparation method and application thereof, the chemical composition of the piezoelectric ceramic material is xPb (Nb2/3Ni1/3) O3-yPb (Sc1/2Ta1/2) O3-(1-x-y) PbTiO3 (PNN-PST-PT), x is more than or equal to 0.2 and less than or equal to 0.5, and y is more than or equal to 0.332 and less than or equal to 0.405. The piezoelectric ceramic material is prepared by a solid-state reaction method. The method mainly comprises the following steps: weighing raw materials, ball-milling, calcining, granulating, forming, dumping and sintering. The PNN-PST-PT piezoelectric ceramic prepared by the invention has excellent piezoelectric property, and the problem of high sintering temperature of Sc and Ta elements is solved. Therefore, the PNN-PST-PT piezoelectric ceramic disclosed by the invention is a very promising novel high-performance piezoelectric material.
