The invention relates to the technical field of refractory bricks, in particular to a corundum-containing refractory brick and a preparation method thereof.The preparation method comprises the following steps that 1, materials are mixed, specifically, raw materials are weighed according to the mass ratio, mixed to be uniform, heated and subjected to heat preservation, after heat preservation is completed, the raw materials are ground to 80-150 meshes, and a mixture is obtained; step 2, preparing slurry from the mixture: mixing the mixture with a composite additive and phenolic resin, adding water, uniformly stirring, and aging to obtain mixed slurry; step 3, pressurizing the mixed slurry: carrying out pressure forming on the mixed slurry, carrying out brick making, and baking at 1200-1350 DEG C for 4-5 hours to obtain a brick to be burnt; and step 4, firing the brick: firstly carrying out heat preservation on the brick to be fired, then heating to 1770-1790 DEG C, and then carrying out heat preservation for 24-32 hours to obtain the refractory brick. According to the invention, the raw materials such as carbon, silicon carbide, corundum, magnesia and the like are mixed and fired, so that the high-temperature resistance, scouring resistance and oxidation resistance of the refractory brick are improved.
