The invention discloses a quick-setting high-strength plugging agent and a use method thereof. The quick-setting high-strength plugging agent comprises the following components in parts by weight: 60-70 parts of cement clinker, 10-15 parts of gypsum, 10-15 parts of a slow-release reducing agent, 3-5 parts of quick lime, 1-5 parts of carbon black, 1-5 parts of sodium metaaluminate, 1-2 parts of rubber powder, 1-2 parts of silica powder and 0.2-0.5 part of an additive. Comprising the following steps: S1, grinding all components except a slow-release reducing agent according to a formula ratio, and then stirring and mixing with the slow-release reducing agent to obtain a plugging agent; s2, adding water into the plugging agent in the S1, and quickly stirring for 30-60 seconds to obtain a muddy material; and S3, quickly pouring the muddy material in the S2 into the ventage, continuously adding water, stirring until the stirring resistance starts to be increased, and finally leveling. The anti-stripping, anti-seepage and anti-seismic capacities and strength of the plugging agent are improved, the self-drying speed is high, and coagulation is promoted.
