The invention provides a construction method for preventing a joint between a shear wall and a filler wall from cracking, which comprises the shear wall and a window lower wall which are formed by pouring concrete and are integrally arranged, and a shear wall thermal insulation body and a window lower wall thermal insulation body are respectively arranged in the shear wall and the window lower wall; the end faces of the two side portions of the shear wall heat preservation body and the window lower wall heat preservation body are provided with telescopic connecting pieces and groove bodies correspondingly, the telescopic connecting pieces are located in the groove bodies, the shear wall and the window lower wall are connected through building concrete, meanwhile, gaps can be prevented from being generated at the splicing position of the shear wall and the window lower wall, and the service life of the window lower wall is prolonged. The telescopic connecting piece comprises a clamping piece, an elastic piece and a reinforcing rib. The overall structure is simple, the good heat preservation performance of the shear wall and the window lower wall is guaranteed, and meanwhile the problem that cracks appear at the splicing position of the shear wall and the window lower wall is solved.
