The invention provides a method for improving the oxidation resistance of a carbon fiber reinforced silicon carbide ceramic-based composite material, and belongs to the technical field of composite materials. According to the preparation method, the SiC coating is deposited on the surface of the carbon fiber reinforced silicon carbide ceramic-based composite matrix material, and then pre-oxidation treatment is performed, so that the SiC coating on the surface of the carbon fiber reinforced silicon carbide ceramic-based composite matrix material generates a SiO2 film in situ, and the oxidation resistance of the carbon fiber reinforced silicon carbide ceramic-based composite material at 1200 DEG C or below is realized; meanwhile, the method has no influence on other properties of the carbon fiber reinforced silicon carbide ceramic matrix composite.
