The invention discloses a self-propelled large-scale tunnel air bag plugging device which comprises an air bag body and propelling devices symmetrically arranged at the two ends of the air bag body, each propelling device comprises a mounting support, a first propeller and a second propeller, and the air bag body comprises an air bag layer and an air bag column. The underwater unmanned plugging device has the following beneficial effects that the propelling devices are arranged at the two ends of the airbag body, so that underwater unmanned plugging is achieved, and the safety can be greatly improved; the air bag body adopts a multi-layer and multi-chamber design, so that the rubber layer of the air bag has a pressing effect on a hole wall during air inflation so as to realize effective plugging, and a certain buffer time can be provided for evacuation of personnel and equipment during construction when the air bag leaks air; the inside of the air bag layer and the inside of the air bag column are the net-shaped reinforcing layers made of the high molecular weight polyethylene fibers or the aramid fibers, and the reinforcing layers can provide main strength support and provide enough bearing force for the air bag body to resist the pressure of a water head.
