Construction equipment of a basement drainage pressure reduction anti-floating structure comprises a construction vehicle, a storage tank is arranged at the top of the construction vehicle, a discharging dredging mechanism is arranged on the outer side of the construction vehicle, and the storage tank is communicated with the discharging dredging mechanism through a conveyor arranged on the construction vehicle. The storage tank, the conveyor and the discharging dredging mechanism are used for laying sand and gravel in a stirring mode. A pressing laying mechanism is arranged at the bottom of the construction vehicle and used for laying geotechnical cloth in a pressing mode. The construction method can solve the problems that in the construction process of an existing water drainage and pressure reduction anti-floating structure, geotextile needs to be laid manually generally, in the geotextile laying process, the geotextile is prone to being folded and warped, the laying effect is not smooth enough, and blockage is prone to occurring in the sand and gravel laying process; and time and labor are consumed during manual dredging.
