The invention discloses a vertical rotation construction method for a steel arch frame of a reinforced concrete arch bridge, which comprises the following steps of: dividing the steel arch frame into four sections, respectively assembling two sections of steel arch frames on two banks, and installing steel arches capable of rotating around arch feet at arch seats at two ends. And after all the sections are assembled, the steel arch frame is subjected to vertical rotation construction in a jack and buckle cable mode, folding is conducted after the steel arch frame is vertically rotated to the designed position, the arch axis is remeasured, and reinforced concrete arch ring construction is conducted after rechecking is completed. The steel arch is firstly assembled in sections and then is vertically rotated and constructed in place by adopting the jack and the buckle cable, so that high-altitude operation can be reduced, the construction safety risk is reduced, the requirement on hoisting equipment is reduced, the on-site steel arch assembling efficiency and the steel arch welding quality are effectively improved, and the construction period is shortened.
