The invention relates to a hinge (1) for a flap (101) of a motor vehicle, comprising: a flap element (2) which is designed to be fastened to the flap (101); a pivot element (3) which is designed to be rotatably fixed to a body (100) of the motor vehicle about a hinge axis (5); wherein, on the first portion, the flap element (2) is rotatably connected to the pivot element (3) about an axis of rotation (6); wherein, at a second location offset from the first location, the flap element (2) is connected to the pivot element (3) by means of a detachable fastening element (7); and a spacer (8) for maintaining a spacing between the pivot element (3) and the flap element (2) in a mounted position in which the fastening element (7) is detached and the flap element (2) is rotated relative to the pivot element (3) about the axis of rotation (6) relative to a standard position.
