The invention discloses a river water quality intercepting and purifying station which comprises a ground base station and an intercepting dam, the ground base station comprises a control cabinet, a micro-nano bubble generator, a sludge pump and a sludge collecting pool which are arranged along the bank side of a river, and the control cabinet is used for controlling and connecting power supply of all electric appliance elements; the intercepting dam comprises an up-flow dam body and a down-flow dam body, the up-flow dam body and the down-flow dam body are distributed in the flow direction of a river, the up-flow dam body is arranged across a river channel, the down-flow dam body and the up-flow dam body are arranged on one side of the up-flow dam body at a preset distance, and an overflow channel is formed between the up-flow dam body and the down-flow dam body. The river is intercepted, the water quality is effectively purified to promote the benign development cycle of a water ecosystem, meanwhile, floating objects floating on the water surface and sludge at the water bottom are collected, sediment, plastic bags and sludge can be prevented from being deposited and accumulated, and therefore aggravated pollution of the water quality is prevented.
