The invention discloses an assembly type unit photovoltaic curtain wall installation method. The method comprises the following steps that wallboards are prefabricated; installing a thin-wall steel connecting piece on the wallboard on site; photovoltaic modules are installed on the outer sides of the tops of the thin-wall steel connecting pieces on site, and photovoltaic wallboards are obtained; and the assembled photovoltaic wallboards are hoisted to the external vertical face of the building to be fixed, the connecting cover plates are installed between every two adjacent photovoltaic wallboards, and the connecting cover plates are arranged on the photovoltaic assemblies. The installation method is used for a brand-new unit type photovoltaic curtain wall component, the wallboards of the component are provided with the bosses for forming interlayer fireproof partitions, when a fire occurs, fire spreading can be effectively blocked, and the installation method becomes another guarantee for high-rise fire prevention. The photovoltaic module and the wall plate are effectively connected through the thin-wall steel connecting piece, a traditional metal frame in an externally-hung mode is omitted, it is guaranteed that the production process of the building outer wall is not affected, the photovoltaic module and the wall plate are combined to jointly bear wind loads, the earthquake effect and the temperature effect, the force transmission path is clear, and the installation method is simple and effective.
