The invention discloses a slow-release type self-healing stress absorption layer. The slow-release type self-healing stress absorption layer is formed by curing a slow-release type self-healing mixture, the slow-release self-healing mixture is prepared from basalt, limestone, SBS (Styrene Butadiene Styrene) modified asphalt and slow-release self-healing rubber according to the mass ratio of (90 to 100) to (3 to 5) to (6 to 9) to (15 to 25). The invention also discloses a preparation method of the slow-release self-healing stress absorption layer. According to the slow-release type self-healing stress absorption layer provided by the invention, the self-made slow-release type self-healing rubber and the basalt with a certain grading are prepared to obtain the slow-release type self-healing mixture; according to the slow-release self-healing stress absorption layer obtained through construction, the slow-release self-healing rubber in the stress absorption layer continuously releases the self-healing accelerant, so that the stress absorption layer has long-acting crack healing capacity, and the crack resistance and durability of the stress absorption layer are improved.
