The invention belongs to the technical field of underground diaphragm walls, discloses a method for brushing joint surfaces of underground diaphragm walls, and solves the problem that replacement of a gripper and a brush head on a grooving machine takes a long time. The method comprises the steps that (1) a wall brushing mechanism is placed at the joint position of the underground diaphragm wall; (2) a steel wire brush on the wall brushing mechanism is used for cleaning the joint position of the underground diaphragm wall; when the rotating speed of the steel wire brush is reduced and the torque is increased, the wall brushing mechanism controls the steel wire brush to repeatedly lift and descend for a certain distance for local brushing; and if the rotating speed of the steel wire brush is still reduced compared with the speed during normal operation and the torque is still increased compared with the torque during normal operation after local brushing of the steel wire brush, the cleaning cutter teeth on the wall brushing mechanism extend out to jointly perform brushing until the rotating speed and the torque return to normal. The device can be used independently, so that the grabbing head and the brush head do not need to be replaced on the grooving machine, the preparation time for cleaning and brushing the groove wall is greatly shortened, and the cleaning and brushing efficiency of the groove wall is improved.
