The invention discloses light-weight thermal-insulation composite mortar and production equipment thereof, and relates to the technical field of composite mortar, and the light-weight thermal-insulation composite mortar comprises 35-40 parts of cement, 8-12 parts of converter slag granules and 12-18 parts of a reinforcing material, the thermal insulation material is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 16 to 22 parts of composite thermal insulation aggregate, 0.25 to 0.35 part of resin type redispersible latex powder, 0.6 to 0.9 part of cold water type polyvinyl alcohol, 0.1 to 0.2 part of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose ether, 0.01 to 0.03 part of air entraining agent, 0.06 to 0.1 part of water glass, 0.005 to 0.01 part of inorganic retarder, 8 to 13 parts of polyphenyl granules, 30 to 50 parts of glass beads, 1 to 2 parts of redispersible latex powder and 0.2 to 0.6 part of water-retaining agent. The water-retaining agent is blended, so that the problem that the mortar volume shrinks along with the evaporation of water can be avoided, and in the shrinkage process, if a cement-containing material does not have strength or has very low strength and the shrinkage stress is greater than the tensile force of the material, the shrinkage amount is represented as a relatively concentrated large crack is solved.
