The invention relates to the technical field of thermal insulation mortar, in particular to lightweight fireproof thermal insulation mortar, which is prepared from the following ingredients in parts by weight: 80 to 100 parts of cement, 60 to 80 parts of modified hollow glass beads, 12 to 30 parts of coal ash, 15 to 30 parts of heavy calcium carbonate powder, 15 to 20 parts of elastic fibers and 2 to 3 parts of auxiliaries. The preparation method of the modified hollow glass beads comprises the following steps: carrying out surface pretreatment on hollow glass beads, grinding scratches on the surfaces of the hollow glass beads, loading ferroferric oxide on the outer walls of the hollow glass beads to obtain ferroferric oxide/hollow glass beads, and finally carrying out spraying treatment to obtain the modified hollow glass beads. A mixture of polyvinyl chloride and chlorinated paraffin is sprayed to the outer side of the ferroferric oxide/hollow glass microbeads, and modified hollow glass microbeads are obtained.The thermal insulation mortar prepared through the method is mainly made of inorganic materials, good in fireproof performance, light in weight, high in strength, excellent in thermal insulation performance and suitable for application and popularization.
