The invention discloses an arch bridge arch rib construction method which specifically comprises the steps of manufacturing arch ribs and completing pre-splicing, installing joint flanges at joints of all arch rib sections, installing arch springing and arch supports, pouring concrete to pre-buried sections of the arch springing, hoisting the arch rib sections on the two sides of the most edge part, tensioning buckle cables, and installing inter-rib parallel braces and cross braces. The arch rib sections in the middle are hoisted, the buckle cables are tensioned, meanwhile, the side wind cables are pulled, and inter-rib parallel braces and cross braces are installed; the method comprises the following steps: folding all arch rib sections into an integral arch rib, welding nodes of the arch rib sections, welding nodes of arch feet, temporarily hinging and sealing the arch feet, removing buckle cables, pouring concrete into the arch rib, mounting on-arch upright posts and cross tie beams among the upright posts, pouring the upright posts with concrete, welding side boxes of the upright posts and pouring concrete, coating finish paint, and removing a cable crane. According to the method, the accuracy of the position of each segment and the linearity of the whole arch rib are guaranteed, operation is convenient and fast, and safety is high.
