The construction method comprises the steps that a multi-box single-chamber structure is adopted, the width of a single box chamber is controlled to be kept unchanged, a plurality of equal-width box chambers are prefabricated in a factory respectively, longitudinal segmental automobile hoisting is adopted on site, or the continuous steel box girder structure is gradually pushed forwards in the longitudinal direction for construction; longitudinal connection construction of a plurality of box chambers is achieved; middle widening top plate connecting sections are connected among the plurality of equal-width box chambers, and the middle widening top plate connecting sections among the box chambers are adjusted to adapt to the width change of the bridge floor; solid-web type transverse partition plates between the box chambers are installed at equal intervals in the longitudinal direction of the bridge, and a frame type transverse partition plate is densely arranged in the middle of the solid-web type transverse partition plates so as to achieve connection between the multiple box chambers in the transverse direction. By the adoption of the multi-box single-chamber variable-width steel box girder scheme, the construction and installation difficulty of the whole steel box girder is small, stress is clear and definite, and the construction quality can also be guaranteed.
