The invention discloses a construction method for an ultra-large rectangular continuous open caisson underground station in a soft soil stratum. The construction method comprises the following steps of first-stage construction; simultaneously constructing one end well and the open caisson with an odd number of intervals from the end well, and constructing from the cast-in-place pile to plain concrete bottom sealing; second-stage construction; the other open caissons are constructed at the same time till plain concrete bottom sealing is achieved, and meanwhile the open caisson internal structure in the first stage is constructed; constructing a connecting section well; connecting sections between the open caissons are constructed, and meanwhile, the internal structure of the open caisson in the second stage is constructed; during open caisson construction, each open caisson is of a rectangular frame structure. The comprehensive construction method which is clear in thought, economical and reasonable is provided for the key technology for building the ultra-large rectangular open caisson group station in the soft soil stratum, namely construction is conducted in a skip construction mode, and the method has the advantages of being safe, reliable, easy to operate and implement, good in construction quality, fast in construction progress, small in surrounding rock disturbance and the like.
