The invention provides a method for separating a maritime work platform from a buttress, and belongs to the technical field of ocean platforms. The method comprises the steps that all pile legs, located on buttresses, of the maritime work platform are controlled to ascend, so that a pile shoe at the bottom of each pile leg leaves the ground; a supporting device is arranged below each pile shoe; each pile leg is controlled, so that the pile shoe of each pile leg downwards presses the corresponding supporting device, and whether the supporting device is damaged or not is checked; when the supporting device is not damaged, the platform body is controlled to ascend relative to the pile leg, so that the maritime work platform is separated from the buttress; and all the buttresses are removed. According to the invention, the maritime work platform carried and built in any environment can be separated from the buttress, so that the maritime work platform is more convenient and quicker to build.
