The invention discloses a converter nozzle brick and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the field of refractory materials. The converter nozzle brick comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 55%-65% of modified mullite, 10%-15% of quartz sand and 30%-35% of co-grinding powder, wherein the total percentage is 100%; 3.5%-4.5% of a phenolic resin binding agent is added. The modified mullite and the quartz sand are introduced as main raw materials, the modified mullite is a silicon carbide micro-mesh structure generated on the surface of the fused mullite at the temperature of 1600-1700 DEG C by using the high-activity nano-graphite fine powder, and the heat conductivity coefficient and the scouring resistance of the sliding plate brick are improved under the condition that the original low creep property of the fused mullite is not damaged. Meanwhile, the fused mullite is controlled to be of a needle-shaped whisker structure, so that the converter nozzle brick has good erosion resistance, thermal shock resistance and high temperature resistance.
本发明公开了一种转炉水口砖及其制备方法,属于耐火材料领域。该转炉水口砖的组成成分及重量百分比为:改性莫来石55%‑65%,石英砂10%‑15%,30%‑35%的共磨粉,总百分比为100%;外加酚醛树脂结合剂3.5%‑4.5%。本发明引入改性莫来石和石英砂作为主要原料,改性莫来石是使用有高活性的纳米石墨细粉1600‑1700℃时在电熔莫来石表面生成碳化硅微网状结构,在不破坏电熔莫来石原本的低蠕变性的情况下提高滑板砖的导热系数和耐冲刷性。同时控制电熔莫来石为针状晶须结构使转炉水口砖具有良好的耐侵蚀性能、热震性能和耐高温性能。
