The invention discloses a hydropower station gate position control device which comprises a main body plate and mounting boxes fixedly mounted at the two ends of the main body plate, a fixed rail is further arranged on the main body plate, the fixed rail is connected with the side walls of the mounting boxes, a gate plate is arranged in the fixed rail, and first motors are arranged at the tops of the mounting boxes correspondingly; the first motor is connected with a movable gear arranged in the mounting box, a U-shaped plate assembly is further arranged on the side wall of the mounting box, a movable block is rotationally mounted in the U-shaped plate assembly, a driven gear is arranged on the movable block, the driven gear is meshed with the movable gear, the driven gear is mounted on a threaded rod, and the movable block is in threaded connection with the threaded rod. One end of the threaded rod protrudes out of the installation box and is connected with the movable plate, the other end of the threaded rod is provided with a limiting disc located in the installation box, and the gate plate is installed at the bottom of the movable plate. According to the control device, the smoothness of vertical movement of the gate plate can be guaranteed, timely response of the gate plate is guaranteed, and meanwhile the service life of the control device is effectively prolonged.
