The invention provides a coal gangue slurry filling material as well as a proportioning optimization method and application thereof. The coal gangue slurry filling material comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 25-40% of water and 60-75% of a solid component, the solid component comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 15 to 40 percent of coal gangue with the particle size of 4.75 to 1.18 mm, 20 to 50 percent of coal gangue with the particle size of 1.18 to 0.425 mm, 5 to 15 percent of coal gangue with the particle size of 0.425 to 0.075 mm and 10 to 25 percent of coal gangue with the particle size of less than 0.075 mm. According to the coal gangue slurry filling material, reasonable coal gangue grading setting and liquid-solid ratio are adopted, the fluidity of the material can be improved, and long-distance conveying is facilitated.
