The invention discloses ductile concrete containing coarse aggregate as well as a preparation method and application of the ductile concrete. The ductile concrete containing the coarse aggregate is prepared from the following raw materials: cement, coal ash, sand, water, a composite water reducing agent, a thickening agent, the coarse aggregate and hybrid fibers, the concrete is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 100 to 120 parts of cement, 50 to 60 parts of fly ash, 65 to 75 parts of sand, 45 to 55 parts of water, 0.06 to 0.10 part of composite water reducing agent, 0.03 to 0.08 part of thickening agent, 40 to 55 parts of coarse aggregate and 2.1 to 3.0 parts of hybrid fiber, and the hybrid fibers are various fibers with different diameters. According to the invention, the coarse aggregate is used for replacing a part of fine aggregate, the use amount of a rubber material is reduced, the hybrid fibers and the flexibilizer are added into the concrete matrix, the elasticity modulus of the matrix is reduced, the ductility and toughness of the concrete are improved, and the construction requirements of tunnel structural joints can be met.
