The invention provides a pile driver for widening an embankment, which comprises a main body part placed on the ground of the side part of the widening embankment; the first end of the cantilever mechanism is rotatably connected to the main body part; the first mounting seat is rotatably mounted at the second end of the cantilever mechanism, and the first mounting seat is constructed to detachably fix the first end of the pile body, so that the main body part moves through the cantilever mechanism to drive the pile body to be embedded into the widened embankment; the first end of the adjusting mechanism is rotatably connected to the main body part, and the second end of the adjusting mechanism is releasably clamped at the part, far away from the first mounting seat, of the pile body, so that the inclination angle of the pile body relative to the surface of the widened embankment is adjusted.
