The invention discloses a hydraulic two-way tight supporting type ship lift chamber butt joint locking device which comprises a locking frame and a plurality of guide assemblies arranged in the locking frame, each guide assembly comprises guide grooves located in the left side and the right side of the locking frame, and the guide assemblies are arranged in the vertical direction. Locking pins are arranged in the guide grooves in the left side and the right side, a mounting gap exists between the locking pins in the same guide assembly, a tight supporting oil cylinder is arranged in the mounting gap, the two ends of the tight supporting oil cylinder are hinged to the locking pins on the two sides of the tight supporting oil cylinder respectively, and the two ends of the tight supporting oil cylinder can stretch out or retract in the horizontal direction. And the end face of the locking pin is contacted with or separated from the track embedded part in the groove of the tower column.
