The invention discloses a mineral-based building surface anticorrosive coating and a preparation method thereof, and relates to the technical field of building surface coating preparation. A preparation method of a mineral-based building surface anticorrosive coating comprises the following steps: (1) uniformly mixing silane modified clay minerals with an alkaline solution to obtain alkali modified clay minerals; and (2) coating the surface of a building with the alkali modified clay mineral, modifying and flattening, and then baking to obtain the mineral-based building surface anticorrosive coating. The anti-corrosion coating prepared by the invention has the characteristics of low cost, acid and alkali resistance, light aging resistance and good stability, further widens the application field of clay minerals, and is beneficial to improving the economic value of the clay minerals.
