The invention relates to a manufacturing method of a carbon fiber hard felt cylinder, comprising the following steps: S10, soaking a first section of carbon fiber preform in a first soaking solution, soaking a second section of carbon fiber preform in a second soaking solution, the first soaking solution and the second soaking solution having different components; s20, the first section of carbon fiber preform is processed into an inner cylinder, the second section of carbon fiber preform is processed into an outer cylinder matched with the inner cylinder, and the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder are combined into a hard felt cylinder preform; and S30, heating the hard felt cylinder prefabricated body to form a hard felt cylinder finished product. According to the technical scheme, the problem that in the prior art, the heat preservation performance and the oxidation resistance of a carbon fiber hard felt cylinder cannot be considered at the same time is effectively solved.
