The tundish refractory material is prepared from the following chemical components in percentage by weight: 30 to 40 weight percent of TiO2, 45 to 60 weight percent of MgO, 4 to 6 weight percent of SiO2, 1 to 2 weight percent of CaO, 0.1 to 0.3 weight percent of organic binding agent and the balance of inevitable impurities. The tundish refractory material provided by the invention is a dry material, has good heat resistance, and can avoid hydrogen increase in molten steel.
