According to an embodiment, the present invention is to provide a refractory material for a tundish sliding gate member excellent in corrosion resistance and life improvement effect. Disclosed is an invention related to a refractory material for a tundish sliding gate member. In one embodiment, the refractory material for a tundish sliding gate member includes: 75 to 85 wt% of aluminum oxide (Al2O3); 5 to 15 wt% of zirconium oxide (ZrO2); and 3 to 12 wt% of fixed carbon.
