The invention discloses a foundation pit construction method utilizing an existing underground diaphragm wall, which comprises the following steps of: 1, rechecking the existing underground diaphragm wall to ensure that the integrity and the perpendicularity of the existing underground diaphragm wall are good; 2, the existing underground diaphragm wall serves as an outer-layer enclosure structure, a newly-built underground diaphragm wall is constructed on the inner side of the existing underground diaphragm wall to serve as an inner-layer enclosure structure, and an underground diaphragm wall composite structure is formed; 3, the foundation pit is excavated, and the existing underground diaphragm wall in the foundation pit is synchronously removed; 4, steel bars of the foundation pit bottom plate are connected with steel bars of the existing underground diaphragm wall located below the cushion layer; 5, a cushion layer and a foundation pit bottom plate are poured, the portion, located below the cushion layer, of the existing underground diaphragm wall serves as a pile foundation, and the pile foundation and the foundation pit bottom plate are connected into a whole; and 6, constructing an underground structure.
