The invention discloses a friction and bending combined assembly type metal damper with self-resetting viscous damping, which comprises a first sliding guide rod, a second sliding guide rod, a liquid damper, a bending type energy dissipation steel plate, a protective shell and a friction energy dissipation plate, the friction energy consumption plate is arranged at the side face connecting position of the first sliding guide rod and the second sliding guide rod. By means of the simple design and the clear stress path, the reliability of the damper is remarkably improved, the manufacturing cost and the maintenance difficulty are reduced, the defects that after parts of a traditional metal damper are damaged, the traditional metal damper cannot be replaced and can only quit work or the energy dissipation capacity is reduced are overcome, and through the assembly type design and modular replacement, the energy dissipation capacity of the damper is greatly improved. The stability and reliability of the damper in long-term use are ensured, and meanwhile staged energy consumption is achieved through the friction energy consumption plate, the liquid damper and the bent energy consumption steel plate.
