The invention relates to the technical field of desulfurization gypsum pretreatment, and discloses a desulfurization gypsum pretreatment method. The method comprises the following steps: (1) carrying out ball milling on desulfurized gypsum and an organic matter aqueous solution, and carrying out solid-liquid separation to obtain a first solid-phase product; (2) carrying out reaction on the first solid-phase product and an acid solution under a heating condition, and carrying out solid-liquid separation to obtain a second solid-phase product; (3) carrying out reaction on the second solid-phase product, an alkaline solution and an oxidizing agent under a heating condition, and carrying out solid-liquid separation to obtain a third solid-phase product; (4) carrying out reaction on the third solid-phase product and a chlorate solution under a heating condition, and carrying out solid-liquid separation to obtain a fourth solid-phase product; and (5) carrying out reaction on the fourth solid-phase product and an organic alcohol solution under a heating condition, and carrying out solid-liquid separation. According to the method, the content of various heavy metals in the desulfurized gypsum can be reduced, and the water content in the desulfurized gypsum can be reduced.
