The invention relates to a connecting method of a freezer connector. The connecting method comprises the steps that a groove nut is selected to be arranged on a copper pipe in a penetrating and sleeving mode; chambering one end of the copper pipe into a horn mouth by using a reamer; one end of the freezing pipe is sequentially connected with an internal and external thread joint and a reducing double-thread head; the groove nut is moved to the periphery of the horn mouth of the copper pipe, and the end head of the variable-diameter double-thread head is in threaded connection with the groove nut; and after connection is completed, sealant is filled between the groove nut and the horn mouth. According to the connecting method of the freezer connector, the copper pipe is changed into a female opening for connection by broaching the copper pipe, the freezing pipe connector is converted step by step, a trunk line is changed into a male opening suitable for connecting the pipe diameter of the copper pipe in a transition mode, then the sealant is used for replacing a traditional windable adhesive tape, the sealing performance is good, operation is easy, and the working efficiency is improved; the detachable performance is high, repeated utilization can be achieved, and the cost is reduced.
