The invention relates to the technical field of flue gas dismantling, and discloses a high-rise building dismantling method which comprises the following steps: S10, derrick assembly: firstly, a derrick foundation is built, the derrick is formed by connecting vertical rods, angle steel and cross rods through bolts, the derrick is installed after construction is completed, and equipment in a building is cleaned after installation; hoisting the mounted derrick into a building structure; 12 steel channel radiation beams are used as main beams, an inner hanging bracket and an outer hanging bracket are hung on the radiation main beams, double-layer safety protection is conducted on the periphery of the radiation main beams through a safety net and a closed net, and during installation, according to the installation sequence of installation of inner and outer bearing steel rings and the radiation main beams, then installation of square timbers, wood plate laying, the safety net and the inner and outer hanging brackets, the operation platform is installed; and the whole body is sleeved outside the derrick. The perpendicularity and stability of the derrick in the dismantling process are ensured, the risk of high-altitude operation is reduced, and falling and fire accidents possibly occurring in the construction process are prevented.
