The invention discloses an inner handle opened by pressing electronic unlocking and mechanically unlocked and an unlocking method thereof.The inner handle comprises a base and an unlocking handle rotationally arranged in the base, a folding groove is formed in the base, and the unlocking handle is folded in the folding groove; a mechanical unlocking structure used for mechanical unlocking and an electronic unlocking structure used for electronic unlocking are arranged in the base, and the base is provided with an electric unlocking stroke and a mechanical unlocking stroke which are oppositely arranged. The unlocking handle is connected with the unlocking end of the mechanical unlocking structure and brakes the mechanical unlocking structure in the mechanical unlocking stroke, the electronic unlocking structure is provided with a blocking part for blocking the unlocking handle from getting close to the unlocking end of the electronic unlocking structure, and the blocking part is spaced to form an idle stroke in the electric unlocking stroke. And the unlocking handle overcomes the blocking part and brakes the electronic unlocking structure.
