The invention discloses a SiO2 aerogel composite thermal insulation material and a preparation method thereof.The SiO2 aerogel composite thermal insulation material is formed by mixing a component A and a component B. The component A is aerogel composite paste and comprises styrene-butadiene emulsion, silica fume, SiO2 aerogel, polyphenyl granule lightweight aggregate, HPMC and water, the component B is cement-based powder material, and the component B is cement-based powder material. Comprising P.II52.5 Portland cement, I-grade fly ash, ash calcium powder, a polycarboxylate superplasticizer, wood fibers and PP fibers, and solves the problems of small volume mixing amount, uneven mixing and hydrophobicity of SiO2 aerogel in a composite thermal insulation material, so that the SiO2 aerogel can be uniformly mixed with liquid to form a stable paste under the large volume mixing amount, and the composite thermal insulation material has good thermal insulation performance. Meanwhile, the powder can be uniformly mixed with the aerogel paste through stirring.
