The invention discloses a sand stabilization method and a portable sand stabilization device. The portable sand stabilization device comprises a main plate body (3) and a plurality of sand stabilization material laying construction through holes (31) which are formed in the main plate body (3) at intervals. A plurality of reserved sand land protection belts (1) and a plurality of sand stabilization covering belts (2) are sequentially arranged on the surface of a sand land to be subjected to sand stabilization protection at intervals through a portable sand stabilization device, and each sand stabilization covering belt (2) comprises a psammophyte planting area (21) and a plurality of sand stabilization covering blocks (22) embedded in the psammophyte planting area (21) and arranged at intervals; the sand stabilization covering blocks (22) are sand stabilization cover plates formed by laying sand stabilization materials on the surface of the sand land, and psammophytes are planted in the psammophyte planting area (21). The advantages of engineering desertification control and biological desertification control can be integrated, and the double restoration targets of engineering sand stabilization and biological desertification control are achieved; and the sand stabilization device is portable, is simple and convenient to operate, and is beneficial to realizing a large-scale, standardized and more efficient sand stabilization target.
