The invention relates to a semi-prefabricated construction method for a large deepwater caisson shallow dock, which comprises the following steps of: pouring caisson bottom plate concrete in a dry dock, mounting a prefabricated plate and a steel truss around the bottom plate to form an open box body structure, then hauling the box body to a bridge site, finishing caisson construction on water by adopting a concrete cast-in-place mode, and finally injecting water into the caisson to sink in place. The requirement for the excavation depth of the dry dock can be greatly reduced, the dredging workload of the undocked floating transportation channel is reduced, and therefore the construction cost is reduced, and meanwhile the construction period of the caisson can be shortened.
