According to the embodiment of the invention, the breast wall revetment formwork based on channel construction comprises a first formwork and a second formwork which are vertically arranged in parallel, a plurality of connecting devices are arranged between the first formwork and the second formwork, a first connecting rod and a second connecting rod are arranged at the top of the end face, and a pile head is arranged at the bottom of the end face. The ends of the first connecting rod and the second connecting rod are respectively provided with a stretching device, and the stretching devices are fixedly connected with the pile head through pull ropes. The invention further provides an installation method of the breast wall revetment formwork based on channel construction. The installation efficiency of the formwork is high, and the construction speed is increased; and meanwhile, workers and equipment required during installation are reduced, and the construction cost is reduced. According to the method, extra space does not need to be occupied, construction can be completed only through a small working face, and therefore the method can be used for breast wall revetment construction under various terrains and has a wider application range.
