The invention discloses a stone curtain wall structure and a construction method thereof.The stone curtain wall structure comprises an embedded part unit, a steel framework and a stone plate, the embedded part unit comprises a rear steel plate and an adapter, the rear steel plate is fixedly connected with a main body structure through an anchor bolt, and a heat insulation pad is arranged between the rear steel plate and the main body structure; a heat insulation sleeve for preventing the anchor bolt from being in contact with the rear steel plate is arranged at the end part of each anchor bolt in a penetrating manner; each adapter piece outwards penetrates out of the heat preservation plate; the steel framework comprises stand columns, horizontal keels and hanging pieces. The stone plates are fixedly connected with the steel framework through hanging pieces, and joints between the stone plates are filled with foam rods and weather-proof sealant. During construction, the rear steel plate and the main body structure are separated through the heat insulation pad, the situation that the steel framework is directly connected with the main body structure through the rear steel plate can be avoided, and then a cold bridge is avoided; the anchor bolt and the rear steel plate are separated through the heat insulation sleeve, direct connection of the anchor bolt and the rear steel plate is cut off, the heat insulation pad and the heat insulation sleeve are combined to effectively avoid a cold bridge, and then the influence of the cold bridge on energy consumption of a building is reduced.
